It’s January 3rd here on the North Shore of Boston and we briefly had snowflakes this AM – aside from that the temperatures have been unusually mild and rainy.  I am not going to lie – whatever is going on with the weather- the el nino effect or global warming – it has kept real estate booming after an unexpected halt in October.  We all know this can’t last.

In the meantime – motivated buyer and sellers should strike while the iron is hot.   Inventory levels are at a seasonally low level – and prices have moderated a bit as well.  Opportunities abound – including this move-in ready 3-4 bedroom on a gorgeous lot and with lots of tasteful and expensive updates. (Did I mention central air conditioning?)  With tear down homes selling easily for $400k+ and new construction at sky high prices.  This well constructed and newly renovated home is literally the best value in Reading at $579,900.

Stop by on Sunday to enjoy the marvelous wood burning fireplace and some warm cookies  Jan 6th, 11:30-1pm!
